As the summer sun gradually sets, the 2024 summer internship program for Hong Kong Vocational Training Council (VTC) students has come to a successful close. During this fulfilling and unforgettable period, our group of students embarked on a unique journey of career exploration in the vibrant and opportunity-filled city of Shanghai. As a hub of finance and commerce, Shanghai offered a rich tapestry of learning opportunities and cultural experiences. Here, the students not only transformed their classroom knowledge into practical skills but also gained invaluable experience and growth.
During the internship, we organized several team dinners, providing students with a chance to unwind after busy workdays and enjoy the pleasures of good food. These dinners were not only feasts for the taste buds but also catalysts for friendship. In a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, students shared their internship experiences, deepening their understanding and bonds with one another. These warm moments became cherished memories that added a special touch to their journey.
Throughout this valuable internship experience, the students threw themselves into various practical projects, turning their textbook knowledge into actionable skills. They participated in the planning of a 3D digital game competition, from brainstorming creative ideas to designing posters and editing promotional videos. Each step was a testament to their intelligence and hard work. In the meticulous process of MUVIZU animation production, they demonstrated an unwavering pursuit of detail and perfection, showcasing the creativity and professionalism of young talents.
A highlight of the internship program was the visit to the renowned game company miHoYo. Students had the opportunity to observe the game development process up close and gain insights into the trends of the gaming industry. This visit not only broadened their horizons but also sparked their interest in game design and development. After the visit, the students presented their competition plans and MUVIZU animation works in group reports. These projects showcased not only their creativity and talent but also their significant growth during the internship.
Amidst the busy internship schedule, we also celebrated the birthdays of some students. Together, they sang birthday songs and shared cakes. These heartwarming moments brought joy and happiness to their internship lives and created lasting memories. We sincerely wish that each student will continue to embrace happiness and passion in the days to come and carve out their own brilliant futures.
