Maxon has unveiled some new features for ZBrush on the third day of its 2022 ZBrush Summit user event. The event showcases the beta version of ZBrush 2023, which includes updates to the ZBrush Mask system and the ZRemesher repair toolset, as well as a separate version of the software that integrates the Redshift renderer.
Maxon has yet to confirm whether all of the new features will be part of ZBrush 2023’s public release, or when the next release will be, but hints that it could be in the New Year. But ZBrush’s first major new feature won’t be available for free to existing perpetual licenseholders.
